McLaren 570S - Aiming to put a smile on your face as big as its own!

After many months of being teased, the first car in McLaren's Sports Series has been unveiled. Called the 570S, the new addition to the McLaren line-up slots below the 650S, making it the new entry-level model in the range. It is powered by a detuned version of the M838T but it still pushes out 570 HP and goes from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. Thanks to an extensive use of Carbon Fibre, it weighs only 1,313kg which McLaren claims is 150kg lighter than its closest competitor. It's main rivals are the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Audi R8, so expect pricing to be on that level.

As for styling, it follows the same design ethos as the rest of the McLaren line, being similiar in size to the 650S and mimicking the P1's tail light design. There are some features which mark this out as the sports series model, most notably the larger headlight design. Whereas the P1 has a sinister look on its face, the 570S has a more cute front fascia which somewhat resembles a happy Polandball. It's probably the happiest sports car I've seen since the Mazda MX-5 NC Facelift.

The interior is balanced between giving the impression you are in a racing car and making it suitable for being easy to live with. Interior customisation is extensive, you can opt for bright orange upholstery and a 12-speaker sound system to seriously liven up the cabin.

Set to become the best selling car in the McLaren range to-date, the 570S goes on sale later this year. It's nice to know that even if McLaren Honda is struggling to remain competitive in F1, they are still able to churn out sublime road cars to make up for it. Now, how do I improve my odds of winning the lottery?
