Car adverts can be many things: Informative, funny and sometimes just plain weird, with the most recent advert from Audi falling under the third category. The promo for the new RS3 shows an Audi R8 V10 giving birth to the hot hatch, with the assistance of robots dismantling the rear end of the supercar. We can see the RS3 emerging from the R8 covered in some sort of liquid with the robots cleaning the car.
The main idea Audi is trying to portray is that the RS3 has the same DNA as the R8 supercar, being a high performance road car featuring a turbocharged 5-cylinder engine producing 367 hp and being able to complete the 0-60 sprint in 4.3 seconds. Of course, Audi chose to do that in the most disturbing way possible. *Shivers*.
