Motorexpo London 2015 - Part 3: Elite Collection

Rounding up this week's coverage of Motorexpo London is what I call the Elite Collection - From some of the most track capable cars to the most expensive vehicles on display, these are some of the most exclusive rides to be found at the motoring exhibition.

Starting off with the best of British cars, we have the recently released Range Rover SVR (top left) - The full size SUV which packs 550 horsepower making it the fastest Land Rover ever. However, the masters of track performance come from Lotus with the Exige S Club Racer (top right) and Evora 400. Both share a Supercharged V6  but the latter comes with a higher output (400hp to be precise) which can propel the Evora from 0-60 in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 186mph.

Then we have Porsche which made an appearance with two flagship 997 models, the GT2 and GT3, both best suited to being pushed to their limited on closed circuits. The newer 991 GT3 made an appearance too.

Moving on to one of the biggest names in the supercar business, Ferrari had a trio of mid-engined V8 cars on display with the 458 Specialé taking centre stage. Probably the most powerful normally aspirated V8 we will ever see from Ferrari, this car will hold a special place in the history books. It was on display alongside its predecessor, the 430 Scuderia and the standard 458 Italia.

Of course, where Ferraris make an appearance, you have got to have Lamborghinis on display too. Not only was the 458-rivalling Gallardo on display, the V12 Aventador was presented in its iconic yellow paint job. No doubt this was a very popular sight at the show, I had to wait a while to get a full shot of the car, and there was still a kid at the edge of this shot....

I hope you enjoyed reading my summary of Motorexpo, catch Part 1 and 2 here and here in case you missed it. If you did like it, I hope to have more real life events to cover in the near future. Thanks for reading!
