The internet is a great place for exploring various ideas and even questions you have never asked yourself such as "Can iPhones be used as brake pad substitutes?". Thankfully, the guys over at EverythingApplePro have conducted an experiment which involves placing 4 iPhones 5S handsets in the front calipers and 4 iPhone 4S handsets in the rear calipers. The car used was a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera fitted with the brake calipers from a Turbo at the front to house the larger phones.
